First we prepare the apples, which are washed, peeled and grated. Put them in a stainless steel saucepan with the sugar (I put about 6-8 tablespoons of sugar) and cook on the fire until soft. At the end we put the pan aside and put the cinnamon and vanilla sugar.
Remove the margarine from the refrigerator at room temperature. Put it in a bowl and mix with the yogurt.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually add over the margarine and yogurt, and chew well by hand until it becomes a crust neither too soft nor too hard, non-sticky.
Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, then divide it into two equal parts and spread it with the tray as long as the tray is. We spread the bottom sheet more to spread it a little on the walls of the tray.
Put a baking sheet in a suitable tray and spread the sheet over which we add the apples, and on top we put the second sheet which we prick from place to place with a fork.
Bake for about 30 minutes in the preheated oven at 180ºC but check the oven from time to time (each oven bakes differently). It will brown nicely, but not too much.
Then powder with powdered sugar, leave to cool and serve!
